Good Afternoon, 

I am in Santa Barbara having a fascinating conversation about God with my friend mike. How far i have come, but how refreshing it is to know that i am making progress in my small attempts. It is hard to hear that i have messed up, but it is even harder to hear that those mistakes are okay. i am enough for my Lord.

my closest and dearest showed up to my house last night and took me for a night of coffee, donuts, and good quality laughter. I simply adore them. Have you ever had a friendship you felt so secure in and so comfortable you couldn't even call it friendship anymore. they are family.

Recently, I have gotten my heart in a few rather tricky situations. sometimes the best thing to do is not talk it out but rather let the overwhelming thoughts simply ooze out of your mind until they are almost in an orbit around your head. the thoughts that stay remain to be what you decide to take action upon, as the thoughts that fade away remain to be memories so clouded by time that you believe they are simply twisted memories possibly pertaining to someone else's life. Yes, i believe in simplicity after all. goda di.
